Peanut butter and chocolate go so well together, I had to make a peanut butter chocolate fantastic fudge recipe!!
Peanut Butter Love
If there’s one ingredient that my whole family loves, it’s peanut butter!!
It’s not unusual for one of my boys to be found with a spoonful of peanut butter as a quick snack. We LOVE it!!!
If you’ve read one of my previous posts (Peanut Butter Maple Fudge Swirl), you probably already know this.
Where Did The Fantastic Part Come From?
As for the “fantastic” part, one of my little boys (after tasting it) said “you should call this “fantastic fudge”.
So in honor of my 7 year old,”fantastic fudge” it is!
My youngest son took a piece of fudge from the container as I was taking pictures, therefore, a child’s hand with a bite taken!
Homemade Amish Country Fudge
I live about 1-1/2 hrs away from Holmes County Amish Country, and several little shops in that area sell fudge.
(by the way, if you’ve never been to Holmes County in Ohio, it’s a wonderful place to get away and relax.) Here’s info on Amish Country Ohio
I do not normally eat fudge throughout the year so when I see fudge (peanut butter fudge especially), I get just the smallest smidgen so I can have a taste!
I was wanting to make my own guilt-free peanut butter fudge. You know, something that my family could enjoy without getting a sugar high.
Only 5 Ingredients
I must admit, my delicious fudge recipe tastes like it’s filled with sugar–yes, they are THAT good!!
With only 5 ingredients…yes 5…this peanut butter chocolate fantastic fudge is so easy to bring together!
Sweetened With Sugar-Free Condensed Milk
I make my own homemade sweetened condensed milk that is low carb AND sugar-free!
You’re probably wondering about the taste, right?
Let me tell you…I could eat it right off of a spoon…it’s so yummy!
My Clean & Healthy Sweetened Condensed Milk recipe can replace the canned store bough stuff cup for cup.
Freeze It
Yes, you can freeze my sweetened condensed milk for future use.
I let it cool in a mason jar then stick it in my freezer.
Thaw It
Take it out of the freezer at least 24 hours before use.
This gives it a chance to thaw properly.
Stir and use in recipes that call for sweetened condensed milk…easy!
What You’ll Need To Make Peanut Butter Chocolate Fantastic Fudge
- clean & healthy sweetened condensed milk
- natural peanut butter
- salt
- butter
- sugar free chocolate chips
Storing Fudge
It’s probably self explanatory, but this fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
You could store on the counter, but it would be softer than if it was in a cooler place.
It wouldn’t melt, but I personally prefer it in my fridge!
Not A Fan Of Chocolate?
Not sure that’s even a possibility, but perhaps you are reading this and wishing you could have peanut butter fudge without the chocolate.
Problem Solved!!
Just omit the chocolate chips and there you have it! Plain peanut butter fudge!
