Pumpkin spice truffles are a great little protein snack! Whether it’s the middle of the afternoon or after supper, these low carb treats will satisfy your sweet cravings…plus give an extra boost of protein.

What Exactly Is A Pumpkin Spice Truffle?

Typically a truffle has some sort of chocolate involved, but this recipe is different!

There is no chocolate, yet it is still going to be called a truffle!

Pumpkin spice can be used year round, but there’s always something special about those flavors in the Fall season.

So truffles made with a pleasantly light pumpkin spice flavor were created in my kitchen!

Why Is Protein So Important?

When protein is the center of your meal or snack, you have balanced nutrition that your body needs.

Protein is known to control our hunger responses. It signals to the brain a sense of satiety and makes us feel full within 20 minutes of ingesting!

Besides helping with weight loss, protein is wonderful for gut health, bone health and many other things.

Trim Healthy Mama Protein Powder

There are many healthy versions of protein powder, yet giving your body the best is important!

Trim Healthy Mama is a trust-worthy company that shells out only the purest products.

That includes their protein powder. They have 6 different protein powders:

Whatever flavor you choose you are sure to get the highest quality protein powder!

“Pristine Whey is different than most other whey proteins in that is cross flow micro-filtered (CFM).

This means it is the most un-denatured form of whey available on the market.

Its health boosting native protein structures remain intact due to the gentle, cold-processed isolation method.

Undesired particles, such as lactose, cholesterol and even any de-natured fractions, are successfully removed.

This means even those with dairy sensitivities can often enjoy our whey protein.

Pristine Whey is potent and ultra-pure with the highest biological value of all proteins.

It retains high percentages of immunoglobulin and minerals and is higher in calcium than other whey protein supplements.”

For the Trim Healthy Mama, these Pristine protein powders are a Fuel Pull…meaning they are no significant amounts of fat, carbs or calories.

Are These Pumpkin Truffles Dairy Free?

While the protein powder used in these truffles contains whey, undesired particles, such as lactose, cholesterol and even any de-natured fractions, are successfully removed.

This means even those with dairy sensitivities can often enjoy the Trim Healthy Mama whey protein.

If your only issue with dairy is the lactose, then you should be able to use the THM protein powders, as they do not contain lactose.

Maybe you would rather be safe and not ingest any dairy whatsoever.

A great dairy free protein powder to use is Jay Robb Egg White protein powder.

He has unflavored, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla…so you don’t have to miss out on a tasty protein powder!
