Shamrock milk is creamy…it’s minty and it’s calling your name! This low carb drink is a special treat, especially for those who celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. It’s a sweet, green drink that is sugar free, guilt-free and Trim Healthy Mama-friendly. Kids will love it…and so will the adults!
Shamrock Milk Is Easy To Make
This recipe takes very few ingredients…super easy and quick to make!
Who doesn’t appreciate a simple recipe…especially when you’re short on time, yet really want a delicious snack or drink?
I’ve gotcha covered!!

How Do I Make Shamrock Milk?
It’s rather simple to make this milk.
There are many different flavors of milk nowadays!
There’s strawberry, banana, pecan, raspberry, vanilla, and the ever popular chocolate milk…and so much more.
Well, this recipe is a minty milk that tastes similar to a popular fast food restaurant’s Shamrock shake.
Here’s what you’ll need to make it.
- cashew milk
- heavy cream
- sweetener
- peppermint extract
- green food coloring
- melted chocolate, optional
- whipped cream, optional

Are There Loads Of Calories In This Milk?
Because this recipe calls for heavy cream, it will be heavier on the calories.
The serving size is totally up to you.
You can make it for 1 and have it as a heavy treat once in a while, or share it with someone.
If you were to make a shake or homemade ice cream, there would be a lot of calories involved there too.
So treats like this are nice for special occasions, but not necessarily everyday…since they are not conducive to weight loss.
Feel free to use all cashew milk (or almond milk) if you want to watch the calorie intake and enjoy the entire drink!
Adding heavy cream to cashew milk makes it taste more like regular cows milk in many people’s opinion.
I’ll tell you this…kids love this milk, so you may not be able to drink the whole thing by yourself anyhow! Ha!

What Sweetener Should I Use In Shamrock Milk?
The recipe calls for Lakanto Monkfruit Classic because it is comparable to white sugar and measures the same.
There are other sweetener options, of course. If you choose to use THM Gentle Sweet, you would use 1/2 as much since Gentle Sweet is twice as sweet as Monkfruit classic.
When it comes to using THM Super Sweet or Pyure sweetener (from the grocery store), you would want to use even less than Gentle Sweet…about 1/3 of the amount called for in the recipe.

Is This Green Milk THM-friendly?
What is Trim Healthy Mama anyhow?
It is a lifestyle that was started several years ago by two sisters, Pearl and Serene.
Many families are living this healthy life and eating delicious, no-guilt food because of this plan.
This milk recipe is definitely on-plan because of the good fats in heavy cream and natural ingredients!

Add Whipped Cream and Chocolate To Your Milk
For some fun and extra goodies, you can drizzle melted chocolate down the inside of your glass.
Adding sugar free whipped cream and shaved chocolate on top makes this drink look so pretty…as well as extra tasty!
This step is totally optional, but why not add more goodies?!!
