The warmth of cinnamon and ginger mixed with chai tea…there’s just nothing like it!
I’ve been thinking for quite a while how I could make a tea latte that had some spice mixed with sweetness. I already have a latte recipe, but that one uses coffee (Sweet Cinnamon Latte recipe here). It’s delicious and so satisfying, but several of you all said you didn’t care for coffee, so here is a tea version. When I had my first sip, it literally tasted like something I would order at a coffee shop.
I love chai tea…it just makes me feel all cozy inside. I didn’t really care for coffee until just a few years ago, but I’ve always loved my tea. I have a variety of flavors, but I always seem to go back to my favorite…chai (or anything with spice)!
The fact that I use ginger in this latte is great because of all the health benefits ginger has in our bodies! It is one of those spices that definitely gives a “kick” when used in food or beverages.
Among the many great benefits of ginger, one of them is it keeps you full…meaning you won’t overeat…resulting in weight loss! YES!!! –P.S. I love you, ginger– 🙂 So drink those Good Girl Moonshines AND this Sweet & Spicy Chai Latte…they are full of goodness and satisfaction.
