One way you know it is winter time…hot drink recipes are all over social media!  Why?  To warm us up and make us feel cozy of course.


Vanilla Cream Latte (Sugar-free, Low Carb, THM-S)


This recipe literally came to me one evening after our supper meal.  I was finishing kitchen clean-up and I was thinking about coffee drinks…yes, I love coffee!  It occurred to me that I had a salted caramel flavored hot coffee, a cinnamon flavored latte and a caramel vanilla iced coffee, but no plain vanilla hot specialty drinks.

Like I said, the ingredients just sort of came to my brain as I was making it…and it’s a very simple recipe, so no worries!  I would say no special ingredients (unless some people consider collagen a special ingredient?).  Either way, this is something you must taste for yourself to see how yummy it is!

I need to mention something rather interesting.  The vanilla I used for this latte is Mexican Pure Vanilla.  I was a bit skeptical because the price sounded too good to be true.  I realize the cost of pure vanilla has risen, so I wasn’t quite convinced this was the “good stuff”.  So I asked my Facebook followers what their opinion was on this important issue.  I received so much positive feedback on this particular vanilla, especially from personal friends who live/have lived in Texas, New Mexico or Mexico.  They told me it’s great stuff and it was the only vanilla they used!  This reassured me big time.  I ordered some that very day, thanks to so many friends and readers input.  Now I can honestly tell you that this Mexican vanilla smells so good and has a great taste in my latte!  I can’t wait to use it in my baked goodies.

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender or use a milk frother and mix well.
  2. Pour in favorite coffee mug.
  3. Top with homemade whipped cream if desired.


I like THM pure stevia extract powder, but feel free to use sweetener of choice to taste!
